(Purcellville, VA)-Pianist extraordinaire Nancy Prestipino will perform on Saturday, November 28, at Franklin Park Arts Center.  Concert begins at 1:00 pm. Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children under 12, children under 5 admitted free. Tickets can be reserved by calling the box office at 540-338-7973

Get ready to be excited with songs for children and the young at heart. Nancy’s back with the debut of her new children’s program. Honing her skills with children the past 5 years at the Montessori School in Ashburn, and incorporating her Level 2 certification of the Orff Schulwerk method of teaching music that awakens and develops  the inherent musical creativity in all of us, she inspires her children to mutually joyous heights.

The program will feature both original and folk songs and sing along audience participation will be encouraged. A CD of the songs will be available for purchase.

The Franklin Park Arts Center opened on February 2, 2008 after more than a decade of fundraising and construction. The 2009/2010 season runs from September 2009 thru June 2010 and features local, national and international performers.
